1. What we use
Cookies, local storage, session storage, and a device fingerprint (a hash of browser/device traits, not a camera).
2. Consent
- Necessary: age gate, login session, security and anti-abuse. Blocking these breaks login or generation.
- Preferences: language, last wall dataset, local likes/saves.
- Analytics: first-party events to improve the product, not for ad bidding. There is no in-page analytics toggle until we ship one.
- Advertising cookies: off in this phase.
The age gate is required and is not skipped if you refuse analytics. The cookie notice appears after or with the age gate. This policy stays in the footer.
3. Categories
Necessary: age-confirmed flag, session, anonymous_id, abuse tokens, your cookie choice.
Preferences: locale (en / zh-Hans / ja), last wall/entry, local likes/saves, generator UI state.
Analytics: impressions, clicks, dwell, generation funnel, billing dwell.
Fingerprint: stitch anonymous visits, merge on login, stop referral and free-quota abuse. We do not sell sexual-preference fingerprints to advertisers.
Third parties: Google sets its own cookies if you use Google sign-in; a payment processor will set checkout cookies when real payments exist. We do not invent vendor names here in advance.
4. Controls
You can delete site data in the browser. Deleting necessary items will break the gate or login. Leaving Google sign-in does not delete the PLAYDESIRE.ai account.
